Commisioned by Music of Remembrance, dedicated to composers whose lives were snuffed out or irrevocably changed by the Holocaust. As part of a program mostly heavy and serious, Revue de Cuisine is light, with lots of contrast in movement and mood, and moments both funny and touching. The kitchen implement-dancers wear aprons and cook in their spare time. Except the brooms, who are played by… brooms.
