Born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Justin received his BFA in Dance from the University of Minnesota. Justin also trained at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, The Ailey School, The LINES Ballet School, and at the Netherlands Dance Theater Summer Intensive.  In addition to dancing professionally for Spectrum Dance Theater, Shapiro and Smith Dance Company, and Contempo Physical Dance Company, Justin has performed works by artists such as Makeda Thomas, Bill T. Jones, Ananya Chatterjea, Donald Byrd, Stephen Petronio, Nora Chipaumire, Carl Flink, Robert Moses, and Peter Chu.
