25/26 COMPANY AUDITIONS

Olivier Wevers, Artistic Director, will select dancers to audition in-person.
During callbacks, final candidates will be asked to partner.
SEATTLE AUDITION
NEW YORK CITY AUDITION

Applicants for the Seattle audition will be notified of selection on January 31, 2025.
Applicants for the NYC audition will be notified of selection on February 7, 2025.
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS
- Contemporary dance background
- Basic classical training
- Partnering skills
- Committed to the creative process – all new creations requires engagement and creative participation
- Works well and respectfully with others
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Dancers must be at least 18 years old and able to work legally in the USA.
- We are unable to sponsor visas for foreign workers.
- Only U.S. citizens or those currently possessing a valid visa or green card will be considered.
- This position requires an on-site presence in studios and theaters in Seattle and the surrounding areas.
START & END DATES + DETAILS
Contracts begin May 26, 2025
- Minimum of 30 weeks contract in Seattle, WA
- Workweek: Monday to Friday 9am – 1pm & 1:30pm – 3:30pm (Workdays falling on weekends during performances, intensives, and special events)
- $940.50 per week
- Physical and Mental Health Stipend reimbursement of $2,000 (for the season)
- On-site Physical Therapy Program and Athletic Training Program
- Free massages (3 hours/month)
- Covered by the WA State Department of Labor and Industry
- Teaching opportunities at company intensives
- Option to join the faculty of the Whim W’Him Contemporary Dance Center
