Mission Statement

The mission of Whim W'Him is to provide a platform, centered around choreography and dance, for artists to explore their craft though innovation and collaboration. The organization strives to foster an artistic community by encouraging original projects through an alliance of artists from varied disciplines dedicated to a creative journey in order to reach the community at large.

Goals

• Lay the foundation for a dance company that has an expectation of innovation and collaboration. Work that has strong familiar elements, but challenges the audience with its themes, movements and choices.
• Create and perform evening-length pieces each season, with the additional participation in dance festivals and online initiatives to expand the platform of dance in the Puget Sound region and beyond.
